Doctor Ash was there in our hour of need, his services provided the comfort of having to send our best friend ( Temo) off to Animal Heaven. It was the first time using Dr. Ashβs services as I have had to put three dogs down in the past 10 years and will most likely have to in the future whereby I will definitely call upon Doctor Ash. amanda stinson10 days agoDr. Ash was truly a blessing my poor old boy needed to pass on and I was dreading the trip to the vet or emergency clinic. I knew the drive home would be unbearable and the days prior had been horrible. He made us feel so comfortable that we were making the right choice and he handled everything with such professionalism even with me bawling hysterically. SM13 days agoWe unfortunately had to make the decision to put our beautiful cat to rest, and although we were devastated to see him go, Dr. Ash made the entire experience as convenient and compassionate as possible. He explained the whole process from start to finish and made sure to give us as much time as we needed. It brought a lot of peace to us for us to be able to be with our cat in his final moments in the place he felt most comfortable, and I cannot describe in words how much it meant to us to be able to do this in the comfort of our home. We also received ashes as part of their additional services, and he comes directly back to your home to personally deliver everything. Genuinely thank you for everything this business provides. To anyone considering this option, I would highly recommend.

Being able to say goodbye to Omi at home, where he was comfortable and surrounded by his family, meant a lot to us. Dr. Ash was gentle, respectful, and compassionate throughout the entire process. Steve Ulrich22 days agoWe are grateful for Dr. Ash and his support. He was very responsive and guided us through every step of the process with saying good bye to our dog. If there was one part of the process I wish was better it would be the cost. While I appreciate there are many parties involved in the overall process of pre/post care when saying goodbye to a pet, cost did feel excessive. $850-$1100 did feel a bit steep to euthanize an animal. In either case, providing that comfort and dignity to our loyal family member felt worth it and weβd likely use the service again.Posted on Google

Chris A42 days agoDr. Ash was extremely professional, considerate and caring when we utilized his services last week. Saying goodbye to our beloved pet was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, but being able to do so at home, with him, in his favourite spot with both of us was a huge gift, and made a difficult time easier. Dr. Ash was easy to book, communicate and work with, and obviously genuinely cares for pets and the people in their lives, and made a very hard situation the best it could have been given the circumstances. I feel really lucky that we were able to say goodbye to our best friend under circumstances where he was calm, and happy, and free of pain and additional suffering, despite his challenging illness finally getting to the stage where it was too much for him. While the end of our time together was extremely difficult, I wouldn't have had it any other way.

jennifer w46 days agoWe had to put our sweet boy down about 7 weeks ago. We found out at 430 pm on a Sunday that we had to let him go, we took him home to snuggle with his brother and by 9pm Dr Ash was at our home. He had kidney failure which came on pretty fast. It was a very hard decision but Dr Ash was patient and kind throughout the process. We also required services after hours which cost a little extra but totally worth it to be able to do in our home. Sorry for the late review and thank you such much for giving us the option of euthanasia at home!

Charlene Woods47 days agoWe had the unfortunate experience of having to say good-bye to not 1, but 2 of our 3 small, senior dogs within 48 hours. I contacted Dr Ash after a friend told me about him, and I knew the time was coming and he truly helped make the experience as comforting and reassuring as possible. He answered all of my many questions and explained each next step and brought me much peace and comfort to the difficult day(s). He came promptly first thing in the morning to help relieve my beloved dog Bear of his suffering and allow him to pass peacefully and lovingly on to Doggy Heaven. Dr. Ash was calm, compassionate, gentle, and professional throughout the entire process. He prepared everything quietly and unobtrusively in the background, allowing me to remain completely focused on Bear and be fully present with him during our final moments together. Everything went so smoothly and peacefully. Dr. Ash also followed through afterward with the same care and professionalism in handling Bearβs remains, which gave me one less thing to worry about during such a heartbreaking time. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience or a more compassionate veterinarian. We are so thankful that William was able to pass at home with all of us holding him and in caring hands during his final moments. William's health had declined very quickly, and we were scrambling to find someone who could help us during such a difficult time. I honestly cannot imagine a more difficult moment being made more peaceful, comforting and compassionate. From the moment he arrived, he was incredibly kind, gentle, caring and supportive. He lived a 16 year long happy life, Dr. Ash. was great, he told us exactly what was going to happen and what the procedure looked like. Kareen Hallak62 days agoGreat doctor, professional and doesnβt rush you. I had the whole morning with my baby girl Suits πΏ and she was in pain so we didnβt keep him too long. The appointment before us did go long but we didnβt rush him either because we got more time to say goodbye ourselves. He has options for paw prints and getting the ashes back and relative to other in home euthanasia folks he was priced well so we could get her to go to sleep forever at home and not the vet. Thank you so much for what you do, it canβt be easy. We appreciate the care you take before and after our pets pass.

He explained the entire process and gave us the reassurance we needed to proceed based on a review of our beloved catβs bloodwork. He did not rush us and his bedside manner was incredible. When our cat had been euthanized, he gently placed her into a body bag and carried her out in his arms. That gesture alone was worth its weight in gold. I cannot express enough how much we appreciated Dr Ashβs overall amazing approach and support in helping us through what was one of the most traumatic experiences of our lives. Parker was diagnosed with kidney failure over a year ago and we did everything possible to keep him well and happy. I like to think he knew how much we loved him and how spoiled he was. He gave us so much joy and happiness since he join our family. Dr. Ash guided us, so Parker was not under any stress in his last moments. He passed away peacefully in our arms and Dr Ash help us with the cremation arrangements and brought back his ashes. Thank you Dr. Ash.

Leah Armstrong92 days agoIt was heartbreaking to make and follow through with a decision to "say I love you" and "goodbye" to our little 17 year old , miniature pincher, friend coco. Especially as the surrounding circumstances were unexpected and traumatic. When reaching out in this time of need, Toronto Pet In Home Euthanasia services - Dr. Ash was professional, timely and compassionate in his response. His guidance and support was thorough, and non-pressuring. He made every effort to make our little friend as comfortable as possible. He explained the procedure, gave my family time to ask questions, and experience our last moments together, with coco, surrounded by love and peace. We are so incredibly grateful we could do this in the privacy of our home. This service made an overwhelming experience manageable, and a true blessing to receive. We would highly recommend this service for those able to choose it as an option.

Lisa Trudel92 days agoThe decision to call Toronto in Home Pet Euthanasia Services was not easy. However, our 12-year-old Morkie, Gouda, had been insulin-dependent for 2 years and during the last 4 months of her life her health had declined. On July 1, 2026, she had no more quality of life, so we made the call. The vet who came to our home was respectful, kind and thoughtful. Gouda died peacefully at home and seemed to tell us βThank you for a great lifeβ. Even though it was sad, letting go and coping with grief are part of being dog-parents, and we cannot thank Toronto in Home enough for being there. We highly recommend this service. Michelle Wehr107 days agoMy black cat Kenny got sick on June 14 2026 had problems with her liver not eating and drinking took her to vet the next day did tests they gave us medication over the week had to hand feed her but then this past Sunday 21st it got worse then called Dr. Ash for the in home service which liked that he responded quickly. He came the next day Monday 22 in the morning had to say goodbye to her, would like to thank Dr. Ash for the professionalism and kindness during the difficult time.

Dens Lee113 days agoJune 11, 2026, Monty went to Doggie Heaven. We are very grateful for the experience Dr. Ash provided. I definitely recommend Dr. Ash. He made this awful day easier than expected. From booking the day, to the service, to the aftercare. Dr. Ash was thorough and kind. My mom picked up Monty's ashes yesterday from Monty's vet (something Dr. Ash provides - Gateway Pet Memorial cremates and delivers the ashes to your vet). Dr. Ash has a nice selection of urns to chose from, that he shows you on his ipad. We are impressed with how lovely Monty's is. Thank you everyone. We miss you Monty.

Our regular vet gave him palliative injections to keep him comfortable. By Sunday morning he was struggling & had pain. He answered all my inquiries quickly (even on a holiday) and was so patient and kind to me and my family during the most difficult task in pet ownership . In home euthanasia was the best final gift to give my Ripley, and Dr. Ash made it bearable, and gave us room to have our feelings and take our time with it all. Thom Jaskula128 days agoI called Dr Ash when my poor Tibby was having a heart attack and Dr Ash responded within five minutes and said that he could be at my home in an hour. Unfortunately, Tibby succumbed and passed away before Dr Ash arrived. Dr Ash was most kind and helpful with Tibby and within a week, Tibby's ashes were returned to my vet for easy pickup. Debbie MacDonald143 days agoDr. Ash is an earth angel - where others may easily turn you away and say they have no availability, Dr. Ash showed up for me and Ceasar (my almost 15 year old tabby cat) who on Friday, declined significantly and was having very difficult breathing.. Dr. Ash came out in the evening to help.. Everything was professional and compassionate, quiet and full of integrity and respect. Alexandra Wise144 days agoI sadly had to say goodbye to my dog, Adonis, of 13 years on Wednesday. With his declining health and daily physical pain, I have been torn with this decision and felt extremely apprehensive about making this call, which ultimately would relieve him from any further suffering. Dr. Ash was able to accommodate his services very quickly and had very efficient communication. I appreciated that he provided information through text, as I had a hard time discussing this over the phone without getting choked up. When he arrived to our home, he explained everything clearly and simply, and gave us time to say goodbye through every step. He made a very challenging and emotional situation a little βeasierβ to manage, which patience, reassurance and compassion. For anyone going through this, I would prepare yourself mentally for the image you may be left with of your beloved pet once they transition but also, to use a service this like one to help get you through. Our good and extremely loved boy Asher was suffering from lymphoma for 5 months and he rallied, until his hind legs just finally gave out Monday morning. Dr. Ash swiftly read his medical records and knew how quick lymphoma could crash a dog. No questions asked. He made things as easy as possible and was so very compassionate. Lou Stenta161 days agoOur beautiful loyal and dearly loved German Shepherd lost his battle with Canine Lymphoma :(( He was doing well but took a very sudden turn for the worse. He was so young to cross the 'Rainbow Bridge' at only at only 5 yrs old. He was a wonderful, gentle and loving dog! He was very compassionate during the procedure and told us of what would happen. He also gave us time to say goodbye to Loki, which we will always cherish. He also ensured the delivery of his ashes in a prompt matter, which allowed us to take Loki with us when we left Toronto. From the moment we reached out to Dr. Ash, he was extremely responsive Throughout our initial text message communication right up until the day we chose to have him come in to our home. Ken Gallen227 days agoOn Sunday, February, 22, 2026, we found ourselves in the position of having to euthanize our precious german shepherd, Harley. It was not preplanned, as we didnβt expect her to deteriorate so quickly. We tried numerous at home services, however they required advance warning as it was the weekend. Fortunately we were given your contact info. The Vet, Dr. Ash Bekhiy, who came within hours of our call, was wonderful. He was extremely professional. Every step of the way was explained prior to the start. He was unhurried, and gentle. He allowed things to happen at our pace . He did a quick assessment, then left us alone for final goodbyes. 1st he administered a sedative to relax her via a needle in her right hind end. My husband and I blocked her view and distracted her. The vet was able to inject her sedative without her seeing him. It started to relax her very quickly. Her fast heartbeat and respiratory rate slowed, she was no longer panting. By 10 minutes, she was sedated well enough to proceed. He then inserted a small IV/saline lok. He allowed me to assist with little thingsβ¦ holding a flashlight for light, holding her paw while he did the insertion. He asked if we wanted some of the furβ¦we kept it. He told us we could take our. time. We didnβt wait long. Our family circled around her with my husband and I stroking her and just talking to her. The medicine worked very quickly. I felt her heart rate and her breathing slow down. About 15 seconds or so, I could not feel anything. He rechecked using a stethoscope after a minute or two and Harley was gone. We completed paperwork, arranged a cremation, chose an urn and paw prints. We wrapped her in a blanket with her self soothing pillow, we laughing referred to as her suck a moo. Catherine D229 days agoI have used Dr Ashβs service twice now. BEST decision to use this company. Dr Ash was kind and soft spoken. He did not scare our cat at all. He explained the entire procedure so we understood what our pet would feel. Our cat was able to die held in the arms of his favourite family member, surrounded by family, in a place he loved, our livingroom. Dr Ashβs waited patiently and didnβt rush us. My daughter needed 1/2 hour to cradle the body of our beloved family pet and Dr Ash didnβt rush us. When we were ready Dr Ash placed our catβs body tenderly in a blue cloth bag that had his name written on it. His ashes were returned the same week in a small cedar box with his name on it. The entire experience of using this home euthanize vet was respectful and dignified. Iβd highly recommend this service. Itβs never easy to let go but Iβm glad I could get my pet this comforting ending. Highly recommend.

Our beloved Jojo declined so quickly that we weren't really prepared for it. He passed the morning of our chosen end-of-day schedule. Kendall Adlam274 days agoIt's been 2 weeks since I lost my sweet soul cat Lucy. I am normally not the type of person who does reviews but I have to let people know about the wonderful care Dr Ash provided during such a difficult time. He was so quick to respond when I emailed and was able to accommodate a same day appointment. This was such a relief for me because the idea of having to wait until the next day knowing what was coming would have killed me. When he arrived at my apartment he came right over and introduced himself to Lucy and explained the process to me. He was so professional and respectful during the whole appointment. He was in the room but still made me feel like I had privacy for my last moments with Lucy. He did not rush me at all and provided me comfort through his sympathies and by affirming I had made the right decision. This is a situation that unfortunately all pet parents have to go through but service providers like Dr Ash make the experience so much more bearable. Thank you Dr Ash for taking such good care of my baby in her final moments.

Miriam280 days agoI was able to say a peaceful goodbye to my beautiful companion of 13 years, who had just been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that was bleeding (a sarcoma under his nail). After careful consideration, I decided against amputation and aggressive treatments. The veterinarian arrived within 20 minutes of my call. Dr. Ash also offered other appointment times, but both my cat and I were ready for an immediate visit. Dr. Ash was incredibly gentle, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire process. He made my final goodbye and my catβs last moments as calm and peaceful as possible. I am very grateful for his care and would highly recommend this service. One thing to consider is that arranging communal cremation independently may be more cost-effective for those on a tight budget (it will be approximately 88% cheaper that way). I chose their cremation service because I didnβt feel able to remain with my cat after he passed, and I appreciated having everything handled with care.

I appreciated his quiet, gentle approach, and I know she left this earth peacefully. I adopted her around the age of 4 from a rescue in Thailand. She was found on the street in the pouring rain with her 8 puppies and needed a home of her own. She gave me 6 beautiful years of unconditional love and I all I wanted was to give her that love back, and a sense of safety and comfort. He arrived on time and gently explained that my decision was the right one β that keeping my beloved cat alive any longer would only prolong her suffering. He carefully assessed her and explained that she was severely underweight, dehydrated, and anemic, and that there was a real risk of hypoglycemia and seizures. Also helps that his prices are reasonable and he does not try to rip you off like other mobile pet services. I called on Friday and he actually picked up the phone. Not only did we receive a quick response but the vet was able to come right away. He was so calm and gentle with her and was able to end her suffering in such a peaceful way. He was truly a special being and followed me like a shadow. Dr Ash was extremely understanding and also very efficient. I would highly recommend euthanasia at home. More comfortable for the pet. It was beautiful having to do it in the comfort of our home in the backyard where she loved to lay in the sun. Her health suddenly declined and I reached out to Dr. Ash to help her pass peacefully at home. I called him early morning on a Sunday and after going over everything with me he said he could be here in a couple of hours. He arrived as promised and he was very professional, comforting and supportive during a very difficult time. He took the time to explain everything to me and what to expect as this was my first in home euthanasia. He took his time and at no point did I feel rushed to make any decisions regarding after death details and he was very respectful during the whole process. The choice to Euthanize a animal is always difficult, but this service really allowed are family to cry and say our goodbyes without feeling judged. As well having a service that comes to your home is a lot less trauma and anxiety on my beloved pet. As someone who grew up with cats all his life . I did have to put my childhood pet down at the age of 23. I hated calling the vet . Making the drive to the clinic with me and my pet knowing , this is goodbye. Hearing the crying meows in the cat cage is something you never forget on the drive and leaving the clinic with a quiet cat Cage feels so empty.
